Here at Norwood Perrin, we are now collaborating with The Hearing Care Partnership to provide a comprehensive hearing service within our practice.
Working alongside our team, an expert audiologist will offer a range of hearing services including free hearing tests, hearing aids, ear wax removal, tinnitus consultations, and bespoke hearing protection.

Payment Plan

Ear Wax Removal
Ear wax is completely a natural occurrence and often requires little intervention. However, when ear wax builds up, professional removal may be required to help you hear clearly again. Should this be the case, we are here to help with our comprehensive ear wax removal service.
Our hearing care professional will use the latest and safest methods, such as microsuction and irrigation, to gently remove your excess ear wax. This will be followed by a hearing health check to review your current hearing levels.
Tinnitus Consultations
If you’re struggling with the effects of tinnitus, we’re here to help you. Through The Hearing Care Partnership, we provide complimentary tinnitus consultations. Our audiologist will work closely with you to curate a personalised management plan, reducing the impact tinnitus has on your daily life.

What is OCT?
OCT stands for Optical Coherence Tomography. It is a painless, non-invasive test that takes a matter of seconds to complete, and our skilled optometrists will talk you through the results straight away during your consultation. An OCT scan uses reflected light rays to take thousands of detailed images of the back of your eyes so we can detect any potential issues in the layers of the retina and beyond.

Who should have an OCT scan?
We recommend an OCT scan for everyone over the age of 25 each time you have an eye test so that our Optometrists can compare results on each visit and build up a detailed map of your eye health.
Even if you are seen regularly at the hospital eye clinic, it is still a good idea to have an OCT scan in our practice so we can manage your eye health more effectively and make appropriate recommendations.
Your OCT scans can be paid for as and when you have them but we recommend you spread the cost on a monthly direct debit plan, which also comes with many other benefits and discounts on eyewear.
