CONTACT LENSES

At Norwood Perrin we fit all types of contact lenses including single vision and multi-focal options. We can fit & supply all the leading brands of soft daily disposable & monthly disposable lenses including Acuvue, Biofinity, Air Optix Aqua, MyDay, Clariti & Dailies Total One.

We also fit specialist lenses such as rigid gas permeable contact lenses (RGP’s), which can often be suitable for more complex prescriptions.

Our team of experienced optometrists are also able to fit specialist lenses for myopia control. We offer Eye Dream Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) contact lenses. Ortho-K is one of the most effective means of slowing myopia (short-sightedness) in children.  Contact lenses are worn at home at night & these lenses correct your vision while you sleep. This is a method of what is known as myopia control. Our experienced team can give you more information upon request.

A vital part of your contact lens consultation involves checking that your eyes are healthy and suitable for contact lens wear. We have state of the art ophthalmic instruments including slit lamp microscopes to assess the health and integrity of the front surface of the eye and a corneal topographer to map the front surface of the eye to give accurate lens fittings and measurements.
